well if you think about it your body temperature is higher than the temperature of ice cream therefore it will melt in your mouth and become a thick liquid. I would look at the reactions of the mouth acids to the ingredients in the ice cream as different flavours or added bits can be different. but in msn it was said the ice was in the top ten for hardest food to be digested.
