The Fall of France was real, very real. With French leadership failure and better Axis tactics that worked so effectively both the British and French failed to repulse the invasion. The Germans won because they knew exactly what they were going to do and moved quickly and outfought the slow methodical moves of the Allies. France was doomed to fall.

But let's say with better Allied tactics and more maneuverability the British and French were able to halt the German advance into Paris. Well we would have seen the same situation in World War One with both settling to a stalemate. Assuming the allies had the strength to invade Germany without American help, the war would have ended much quicker. Italy would have not entered the war and the German satellites would not have been activated. Hitler's dream of conquering Europe would be shattered and the war over. And the soviets? Well they could either ignore the war and remain neutral or they could invade Germany from the East.

As for Japan in the pacific, that would depend on the decision of the emperor. Japan did invade China and Korea before Hitler came to power and seized French Indochina when France fell. So assuming the French had the forces, they would have sent forces to Indochina. But it is unlikely as the fighting in Europe would have sucked up lots of forces so the situation remains the same. The US would have been dragged into the war with Japan anyway so the main war would be in the Pacific theatre. Depending on stalin the Soviets would have most likely also helped in the Pacific war. Assuming to bombs were not yet ready the USSR would have invade down into Indochina . Eventually Japan would have capitulated had no invasion occurred. The cold war would have happened anyway but maybe a bit different with the USSR occupying Indochina.
