There are any number of things that could be causing a noise when you accellerate. That being said, as the vehicle is being fed more fuel/air mixture, the stresses being put on it are increased above what they would be if it were say idling or off. As a result of this, if you have a noise (depending on the type of noise it could be anything). If it is a ticking or knocking sound, it could be anything from your intake or exhaust valves to internal bearings being worn out. If it is a wine, it could be gears not meshing correctly in your transmission to your alternator. It is very difficult to diagnose a problem when the question simply mentions "it makes a noise". Step one is to identify the type of noise and work from there. Could even be harmlesss.

if the noise is occurring during acceleration, it is most likely ur heat shield. no worries though because u can simply bend it. this should stop the rattle. however if ur heat shield is internal, you have to put a small pinch in the exhaust. this closes the gap, thus deadening the noise
