In a 2000 Lincoln LS the fuel pump inertia switch is in the drivers footwell behind the kick panel ( there is an access hole ) - if you don't see any gas leaking or smell gas , push the reset button DOWN that has popped up on the top of the switch - turn your ignition key to the RUN position for a few seconds and then turn your ignition key to the OFF position - make another check for any gas leaking or the smell of gas , if none , go ahead and start the engine

are you talking about a blend door? if so they usually run between 20-40 bucks on EBAY... dealers charge about 79 for the door. if this is not what your talking about i am sorry
If a gas light stays on a 2000 Honda Accord the fuel sensor is malfunctioning. Replacement of the sensor is advised as the car will run of safe mode if the ECU believes it is low on gas.
