the hampster is slowly dying, at this point there is nothing you can do about it. Sorry the next step is he will start to get hard. Make sure he comfortable and try to move the water next to him so he does not have to move to get water.
If it is like that, cold and not breathing, yes, it is dead.
Does it ever wake up?? But its still breathing??if it is but it is not waking up then it could be hibernating Where do you place your hamster's cage?? it it is too cold?? then they are hibernating..
Yes, hamsters have very similar immune systems to humans. They can actually catch a cold from you. It's always important to wash your hands before handling your hamster, especially if you have been out in public.
Get it to the vet right away! To stop your hamster being cold hold him/her in your hands for a while but please you have to get it to the vet NOW
You should NEVER give your hamster a bath. They clean themselves. If your noticing odor buy some chinchilla bath powder and just let your hamster be in it. But you never give a hamster a normal bath!
It is cold.
you should go to the vet cause has your your hamster been cold and weak when you hold him? and it happens again and again then go to the vet it might be the sign of cancer
worm-blooded
Either they are cold and are trying to concerve energy, (which you should either put a heating pad under part of the cage to keep him/her warm,) or your hamster is about to die. I hope it's the former.
if it is winter dont keep your hamster near a window or any cold places. try and make your hamster as warm as possible.if its cold it will probably get ill and probably will die. We dont want that to happen do we!
No,you should never put a hamster near drafts or hot hot climates.
The hamster may have a cold. I would advise you to take him to the vets.
