That is what guinea pigs do if they want attention.
yes guinea pigs can be kept in the conservatory my guinea pig is and she loves it because its away from the loud sounds and nice and light and spacious
actually, guinea pigs ears are a lot better than human ears, so don't expose them to noises to loud. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- also black guinea pigs have far better hearing than guinea pigs of another color (7 guinea pigs) and most guinea pig dont like high pitch or fast tempo noise...
Yes, changes in schedule, diet, environment, even loud noises can cause stress.
Hello, Guinea pigs are very sensitive to different sounds and can hear way better than any human. If there is any sound that is loud to you it will be miserable for it. When you ask if a TV can damage your guinea pigs hearing, it can only do so if the TV's volume is loud. The sound may not damage her hearing, but can be very unpleasent and disturbing to your guinea pig. My suggestion would be for you to put your furry friend in a quiet non-drafty room isolated from all noise. That's the best way to go, but just remember that A loud noise to you is a VERY VERY LOUD noise to your poor pet. GOOD LUCK! AnnaLee
yes guinea pigs can actually hear quite well. they get startled by loud noises and some may know when your about to feed them if they hear and reconize the bag being opened. when you are holding your guinea pig you want to talk nice and soothing to your pig.
If it randomly starts making loud sounds and there is no reason why - it is hurt, scared ect. - then there is probably something wrong.
No!!!!!!!They are actually part of the rodent family.
No.
I have three
This purring noice occurs when you pet a guinea pig too rough, and like you said, when loud noices such as the telephone or the dog barking startle it. It is basically just a noice it makes when it is startled.
Not sure, but guinea pigs aren't type of pigs. They're in the rodents family, and NOT pigs. Hope this helped?
