What if the Canadian charter of rights and freedoms wasn't invented?

Had the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms not been created Canada would more or less be the same country it is today. However there would be several significant differences:

1. Pierre Elliott Trudeau would have done signifigantly less in his time as Prime Minister

2. The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms is the most used basis upon which other countries write their own. Without it many counties would have to base their charters off of American or British charters.

3. Canada would still be using the UK's charter rather than having their own.
