But he is a fallen angel, he thought in his "heart" that he was better than God and would set up his throne above God. Therefore, because he rebelled against God and there was no place for God in Lucifer "heart", God cast him out of heaven.
He became the Devil or Satan by his act or rebellion.
The Devil or Satan is darkness. The Devil is Hate. He loves what is evil and hate what is good.
So your question "What if" could not be true in this universe.
But in answer to your question "What if", in this make believe universe where the Devil was Jesus Christ, then anything would be possible and nothing would be true as we now know it.
Death would be good and Life would be evil. Love would be wrong and hate would be right. Suicide would be love and living on through pain would be hate. This kind of universe would be the exact opposite of what we know now.
