There are different reasons for the pituitary gland to be "swollen". It could be something as simple as having depression, or if you have recently had a baby. Or it could be something more serious like lymphocytic hypophysitis or pituitary tumor or pituitary apoplexy. You would really need to see a pituitary specialist for it.
