If you've already told him you want to break it off then you know it's not the right thing to do and you know you'll end up being the loser is all of this. Dating married men is no-win situation and he's being extremely selfish. He is not only hurting his wife, but you, but still he doesn't care and he's feeding his own ego and needs. I think you know you've lost your dignity and pride and want it back. Stick with the single guys or at least a guy that has had a divorce. Run!

∙ 18y agoYou haven't said who this "someone" is. If it's your husband or a boyfriend then this is rather peculiar behavior. If it's a friend telling you perhaps they feel the person you are having an affair with is better than the person you are originally with, but cheating isn't the way to do it. Make a decision and have the guts to tell the person you no longer want to be with them. Don't even mention the affair to them because it would be like pouring salt into an open wound. There are a lot of feelings that are going to be hurt here, so be sure where you step with this one. If you are having an affair with a married man there is over a 90% chance he'll ditch you later and you'll be alone.
