My doctor actually put me on .05 mg of Lorazapam and 20 mg of Lexapro at night. and I take Lorazapam in the morning same dose.
Its always best to take it in the morning and at the same time everyday
i know you can do lexapro and adderall at the same time since i am personal prescribed to both. I am not sure what lamictal is though. Just try to take the adderall in the morning and take the lexapro at night since they would work against each other and would cause more than needed stess on your liver.
If you are looking to use HCG for weight loss, make sure you check with your doctor before discontinuing any medication. In terms of will lexapro affect weight loss on the HCG protocol, the answer is "maybe." Some medications can interfere with the protocol - but all this would mean is potentially slower losses. If you are concerned about the HCG affecting the effectiveness of the lexapro, you will need to check with your doctor. HCG is a naturally occurring hormone that is produced normally during both pregnancy and normal menstrual cycles.
Celexa is very similar to Lexapro one is Citalopram and the other Escitalopram. lexapro is newer and supposed to have fewer side effects but Celexa is helpful and similar to Lexapro.
If he doesn't have any heart or blood pressure problems he will be fine, especially as it's extended release.
No you can't... both lexapro and ecstasy are dealing with the same material in your brain - seratonin. ecstasy brings it levels very high, while lexapro keeps it in a controlled level, so the ecstasy just won't work. not taking lexapro that day is meaningless, as the drug is not effective the same day, it keeps a certain level in your blood (which is why it takes 2 weeks after starting taking lexapro to really feel the effects)
Xanax can be prescribed by your doctor alongside lexapro and taking them at the same time is okay. I am on Lexapro and take Xanex for occasional bouts of anxiety or panic attacks. However, weening yourself off Lexapro with Xanex is probably not the best idea. If you are having withdrawal from Lexapro you should probably go back on it.
I do not know. I am asking the same question.
lol no there not even in the same drug class there....lol
I have been for about 2 years
I was started on 20mg nearly two years for the same symptoms and it helped. (I also was on Xanax .5mg for a few months but stopped that due to the high risk of addiction I had been reading about in some people- it did help the anxiety and did help me sleep but it is very temporary solution). Now I am on 10mg of Lexapro daily which is a low maintenance dose and is fine for me (though the side effect of decreased libido is a bummer:-) Talk to your doctor who after listening to you may increase your dose to 20mg. You can drop back to 10mg when the time is right. So, go to your doctor and talk and describe what you are feeling. A lot of people start at 20mg but talk to your doctor first, he/she may also give you something else. That said, Lexapro is favoured for its lesser side effects. There are side effects of course which I am sure you know about after being on them for two years. Good luck..
