If store security caught you and recover the stolen property- they may not have notified the authorities. If that was the case - you should have considered yourself very lucky to have been given the chance to change your ways and to become a responsible member of the community. Obviously, because you did it again - you are a very slow learner. If the cops were involved the second time - that may be all that is of record. You'll know because the charges will be stated and the store involved named. I'm also guessing that you have shop lifted on more than these two occassions which makes you a low life piece of scum. One of the reasons that prices have risen in retail stores is the need for those stores to offset losses - which include stolen merchandise. You're not sticking to "the man" - that faceless corporate entity that you probably think makes too much money off of you poor slobs....you are sticking it to every one of us that is honest and responsible and does not steal from others. WE are paying the higher price for your lack of character. Thanks a bunch.
depends what you were shop lifting but , probably yes I would guess not. They will probably complete an in house report and keep it on record in case they catch you again. If caught again, they'll probably call the police. what if it was just a 2 dollarthing would the police be involved
If you were caught on video or observed stealing and then identified at a later time you can be charged with theft. Best Bet: Don't Steal
Sometimes. It depends on the person and the punishment. Some people commit an offense, get caught and punished, and stop doing it because they expect that they would be punished again. Some people do it again because the punishment was not as bad as committing the offense was good. And some people simply never believe they will get caught next time.
Your parents will hate you, you ll never be able to buy any thing EVER again ,and shoplifting is stupid.
The employee handbook states that sleeping on the job is cause for termination. I don't know how widespread the practice is. I know of one guard who was caught, transferred to another site, then caught again. He was terminated on the second offense. Guardsmark SF Bay Area employee
You have to try again and again until you make it.
Not enough info to answer the question. Need to know what 'legally' happened to the first charge. If the second time you were arrested, was for that SAME offense, or did you just 'do it again' and got caught again? Re-word and re-submit.
I presume you mean a fine. If this is a first offense, no violence or threats were involved and the perpetrator seems contrite and unlikely to steal again, that amount seems reasonable to me.
so if you happen to get caught again they have proof that you did get caught and you would already be in their system.
You cannot be tried for the same offense if found innocent or guilty before.
not if you beat it or caught it
It's possible that the actions you are taking are leaving obvious trails or evidence, making it easier for others to catch you. This could also be a result of your own guilt manifesting in a way that leads to behavior that is more easily noticeable. Consider reflecting on your actions and motivations to determine why this pattern may be occurring.
