It turns out that the human brain has two different types of memory, known as short term memory and long term memory. In most cases, dreams are remembered only in the form of short term memory, therefore they are quickly and completely forgotten. If, however, you think about a dream in a sufficiently conscious way, it can be converted into a long term memory.

I just want to give A interpretation of when you can't remember your dreams, when you can't remember your dreams it's an indication that you have a short/bad/minuscule memory. it's hard to remember things when you do something a lot.
