That is possible. But people do not all react the same way. Some people break up with no intention of ever seeing each other again for any reason. Some breakups are more bitter than others.

Look at the breakup as a final contact with your ex. In real life, people move toward the future and do not look back. The breakup shows that, as a couple, you had unresolved problems that would still be there if you got back together. Take the good things that happened and move on, yourself.

It really depends on the situation of why you and you ex broke up. Did you guys get into a huge argument. If so can you ex look past that. Secondly did your ex or you cheat, abuse or hit each other. If so would you really want your ex back?
