If you pierce your lip with an earing you're an idiot.
That can cause permanent damage to your nerves, and tissue.
Oral piercings are not something to be messed around with.
Go to a professional or you could seriously damage your face.
I wouldn't recommend it, but it can be done. Three years ago, I actually did, and it turned out great. I still have it to this day.
Since you wouldn't be using a sterile, brand new needle, you need to make sure that you clean the earring as best as you can. Rubbing alcohol, a lighter, and boiling water will do the trick. Also make sure you know that you won't have an allergic reaction to the earring. A piercing earring would be the best choice.
