It depends entirely on the person's tolerance. For someone like me who uses the highest dose and goes through 120/150 per month, taking 5 would reduce my pain a bit faster, but that's about it. For me and others like me, it's like taking aspirin.
However, for someone not tolerant to the effects of opiates, it could easily send the person into respiratory arrest, leading to brain damage and/or death if not revived in time. It would of course depend on the person and the dosage of Percocet involved.
In someone not tolerant, they would likely get drowsy within 20 - 30 minutes, then eventually pass out, then if susceptible enough, respiratory failure (due to the nervous system being depressed by the opiates) would eventually lead to cardiac arrest and death.

∙ 13y ago5 Pills are a lot. 2 girls at my school took 5 Vicodin Pills and one other girl took 2 Vicodin pills. When they tried to walk they kept falling over and it made their vision blurry so they kept walking into poles. one of them passed out and the other two girls just kept falling on the floor. i hoped this helped!
Overdosing prescription drugs, particularly strong opiods like vicoden, is dangerous, and potentially lethal. Don't do it. Also, if you take controlled substances such as vicoden without a prescription, you and the person that gave them to you are violating federal law, and you both could go to jail.

∙ 10y agoIt may or may not hard you. The reccomended dosage is one every 4 hours or 2 every 8 hours, but some people take 4-5 at a time. Although this is NOT SAFE, it does not harm some people. I do not reccomend taking more than 2 every 6 hours, but you do what you have to do on your own time.

They make percocets in strengths of 2.5/325, 5/325, 7.5/325, 7.5/500, 10/325, and 10/650. The first number is the oxycodone, the second is APAP (Tylenol). They do make an assortment of oxycodone pills (including 30 mg). But without the Tylenol they aren't percocets. And the street value for oxycodone varies greatly depending on your area. But around me it is around 50 cents a mg. Some places people pay a dollar a mg.

The Oxycodone 30 IR have approximately 28.936 MG of Oxycodone. The Percocet 10/325 have apporximately 8.6 MG of Oxycodone. So yes, the 30MG Oxy IR are way more stronger. Plus the Acetaminophen in Percocet really lowers the dosage of the 8.6MG you're already getting. hcl means it is straight oxycodone with nothing else like tylonal added. apap means it has tylonal in the mix and also 30mgs is 3 times stronger than 10mgs i think you know that LOL. Oxycodone hcl 30 mg, is an immediate release pain reliever, primarily designed for treatment of chronic pain, usually prescribed as a supplement to extended release pain relievers. The hcl is an abbreviation for hydrochloride which is the medium of suspension of the oxycodone. Oxycodone apap 10-325 is a mixture of oxycodone hcl and what the apap stands for acetiminophen. If you have chronic pain and require a high dose of a narcotic pain reliever you will generally not be prescribed this kind of medication since overtime the acetiminophen can reak havoc on your liver. This is however, a nice version of the the oxycodone apap mixture since it is the lowest dose of apap you can get in an oxycodone pill.

having experience being prescribed both of those drugs, I would have to say hydrocodone is roughly 1/4 to 1/3 as powerful as oxycodone 10/325's.so, 5 or 6 of the regular 5/500 hydrocodones would be roughly equal in strength as 2-3 oxycodone (percocet) 10/325's.good luck, coming from a person who suffers chronic pain.i don't want to take opioids for the rest of my life, but at this point, it seems like my onlyoption to stay comfortable and active in my life.
