What if you were in new school and some friends asked you to go to a cafe with them after school but I know my mom won't let me go because there will be no adult present and your friends won't like it?

Mothers (even fathers) want to be sure their children are safe and sound. Since you are in a new school and making new friends call your mother on your cell (if you don't have a cell then use a phone at the school when no one is around) and tell her the name of the cafe your friends want you to go too and tell her how important it is to you as you don't want to let your new friends down. Hopefully, your mother will relax once she has the name of the cafe and will probably tell you to be home at a certain time (so be home when she asks.) Later, it would be wise of you to slowly introduce your new friends to your parents so they know who you are hanging out with and it will make life a little easier for you.
It depends on how old you are, how responsible you are, but overall how resposible these kids are. You and I both know that your mom just wants to make sure you are safe, and that you don't do anything stupid. So try this; Tell your mom you want to talk about this, NOT argue. Tell her you understand why she wouldn't let you go normally. But ask her these questions: Do you trust me? Is there a way I can show you that I am responsible, and wont fall under peer pressure? Also tell her that a cafe is a public place. You wont be completely alone, and you wont leave the cafe. Tell her you are getting older, and you would like some freedom. It doesnt have to be big things, but just loosening the leash a liitle, you know? If it makes her feel more comfortable tell her she can go in, and meet your friends or maybe check out the environment. If she still says no, ask her when you will be able to have a bit more freedom. Then, just explain to your friends you simply cant go. Good friends will understand. I'm sure they'll be bummed, but they'll understand. And if you want to show your mom your friends are good people, you can invite them over to your house. That way you still get to hang out.
