no you can not use 400 MHZ ram because (PC2100 @ 266 MHZ ddr) and (PC2700 @ 333 MHZ ddr) are the only chips that are inter changable. PC3200 is 400 MHZ but it has 2 slots not just the one. It does not fit into the same type slot as either PC2700 or PC2100.
I was looking at the possibility of a PC2700 ram rated at 400 MHZ but I do not think there is such a thing.
DDR-333
DDR SDRAM uses 184 pins.
No, the slots for DDR2 RAM is different from the DDR RAM. You cannot use DDR RAM with DDR2 slot.
No, you can't use sd ram on a motherboard that specifies DDR memory and vice versa. It matters in terms of speed which type of memory you use, DDR is faster.
DDR memory is the memory that computers use. A gig of DDR memory is usually around thirty dollars.
Unfortunately not. Rambus memory, is a totally different configuration compared to DDR Ram. The FSB is different, usually rambus uses 600 / 800mhz. DDR uses 200 / 266 / 333 and 400mhz. The actual memory stick is also different, in that it has 2 slots in the centre of the stick, compared to one slot in ddr. hope this helps be safe cadishead computers
ram doesn't use a cable, but sd and ddr are not compatible
yes it is possible to use DDR800 on DDR667 motherboard. But to be certain please check you motherboard spec.
no...you can't
DDR or SDRAM
There is two types. There is DDR notebook RAM and there is DDR desktop ram. They can't be used vin each other (notebook RAM can't be used in a desktop) unless (in rare circumstances) you happen to have a notebook ram port on your desktop's motherboard. But no, DDR is a technology. Both desktops and notebooks support this technology because there is notebook DDR and desktop DDR. but notebook DDR can't be put in desktop DDR and vice versa.
No.
