He probably is just busy and isn't a talkative type. Some guys don't think they're that great at talking, therefore they feel embarassed about talking over the phone. The possibility of awkward silences and not knowing what to say at times scares them. Perhaps you should arrange a meeting in person with your boyfriend. Then you could talk to each other face to face!

Hey, I'm in eighth and last year I liked this sixth grade guy and we txtd, then he asked me out this year and we went out.
