My father gave his Rat Terrier that is 14yrs old 7.5mg hydrocodone with total of 750mg of acetominophen. What possible effect may there be for this dog? The dog is already sick and may have to be put down as it is. He also gave a 15mg Restoril tab (sleeping pill). This dog was having a choking episode and he was trying to reduce pain and anxiety. It has been over 1 hour and animal is showing no effect of the meds.
