You did not specify which age your friend is, so I can't make a very good assesment of wether she may be sick or just old. But at the end of my dog Duke's life, that's how he got, my dad had to carry him outside so he could go because he couldn't even walk anymore. If you think your dog is happy and has more ahead, then seek a vet's attention for treatment options. If you think your dog has had a good life but deserves to rest, you may want to consider putting her to sleep. I cried for so long when Duke was put to sleep. Because my dad took him Into the Woods and shot him. Please just get an injection if you opt for the later. I hope your doggie gets better. But if not, it's OK, because we all go sometime. Sorry.
