Hopefully there is a Power of Attorney document as part of your Father's will. There should be some provisions, one would think, that being the executor of a person's estate would automatically grant them privileges such as this. You will need the advice of a licensed attorney no doubt.
I have been the executor of my mothers money, I pay her nursing home bills with it, she just died and i have 200,000 dollars left, do I have to pay tax on that money.
You can indeed use such things as a nanny cam installed in something of your grandmothers to ensure there is no abuse in her nursing home.
There is no seperate license required,a senior care facility shuold be capable of handling a alzheimers patient.
You can't be executor of an estate if the individual is still living. However, the executor can make people move out of the house.
All you need to do is to go to google and type in Alzheimers caregivers and your zipcode. This should bring up a good list of people. Another reliable source would be nursing homes who may be able to tell you where to look. You can find a caregiver, in Cleveland, for my mother with Alzheimers at www.safetynetsource.com. Another good website is www.homewatchcaregivers.com/Franchises/FranchiseHome.aspx
This depends entirely on if insurance as well as what type of insurance is paying for the nursing home. In some instances, the nursing home is entitled to a portion of the funds in the account.
As I understand it he died of congestive heart failure following a fall at the Sunrise Nursing home to which he was admitted in June 2009. He had also suffered from Alzheimers and Dementia for 3 or 4 years.
You could go to court and see if you can get declared indigent possibly.
There are several local places in the community you can read reviews about nursing homes. A good website to use for references about nursing homes is nursinghomesabuseblog.com
depends on which state the nursing home is and how often to resident WANTS to be bathed, usually its 1-2X week. some older residents with dementia/alzheimers often forget that they havent had a shower and will refuse, staff can't force anyone to take a shower, so that is why sometimes residents will get showered less that 1X week. depends on which state the nursing home is and how often to resident WANTS to be bathed, usually its 1-2X week. some older residents with dementia/alzheimers often forget that they havent had a shower and will refuse, staff can't force anyone to take a shower, so that is why sometimes residents will get showered less that 1X week. depends on which state the nursing home is and how often to resident WANTS to be bathed, usually its 1-2X week. some older residents with dementia/alzheimers often forget that they havent had a shower and will refuse, staff can't force anyone to take a shower, so that is why sometimes residents will get showered less that 1X week.
There are many things that could account for someone's success in completing nursing school. Studying hard could be one example.
You need to do your research in my recommendation, because in some cases some sort of abuse is known to occur. Call around, look each group up, and compare notes. http://www.superpages.com/yellowpages/C-Nursing+Homes/S-VA/T-Richmond/
