well........., see when you straighten it it practically burns your hair which makes it straight so when you get it wet it washes all of those chemicals out and makes it not be burnt and makes it naturally curly again

The heat is what keeps your naturallu curly hair straight. Getting your hair wet will take away all the heat and it will just naturally go back to being curly.
