The normal white blood count for the general population is around 7-8. So 11.3 is slightly high but not by much. You should go to your doctor and see what your baseline is. You MIGHT be one of those people who have a slighlt high count but it's normal for you. If you are worried you can ask your doctor to see a hematologist. Also if you have been taking meds, certainones like steriods can raise your count.

It can be up due to any physical stress or illness. If you are feeling otherwise well you should just repeat it at some point in the future to make sure it comes back down.

∙ 12y agoMine is 11.3 also I go back in 2 weeks and am terrified.what happens if it stays this level and don't go down?they told me its a indication of leukemia or a infection.but I havnt been sick lately I'm terrified I have a 3 yr old I don't want to grow up without me

∙ 10y agoNormal white blood cell count is in between 4,000 to 10,000 / cubic mm. So this count is some what above the normal range and may indicates bacterial infection. This finding has to be correlated to your clinical findings.
