my 1999 Ford Ranger windshield washer works and all water lines spray heads are clear whats up still wont work ????? answer
Bad/unplugged washer motor, loose, broken hoses, debris or corrosion in the lines.
You should be able to do this just by looking at them. They'll start at the windshield washer fluid pump (located at the bottom of the reservoir), come up along the firewall, and terminate at the sprayers.
that will not do any damge just syphon out what you can and refill with windshield washer fluid at least the fluid will not freeze in the washer lines, lol
check for blockage in the lines.
either the washer motor has burned out or there is dirt in the washer lines plugging up the washer nozzles.
A couple things to check. If you don't hear the washer fluid motor running when you try to spray washer fluid, it may be a fuse or relay or bad washer fluid motor. If you do hear the washer fluid motor running while trying to spray the windshield, but aren't getting any fluid, then there is a blockage or kink in the line. If this is the case, you can unhook the hose at the sprayers underneath on the hood/cowl and blow back through the line to see. It should blow air right back into the washer reservoir. If not, then check the lines for blocks/kinks.
The second pump supplies the rear window. Do you hear a pump running when you turn the switch on for the windshield washer?
More than likely, the fluid in the tank or within the lines is frozen.
The water lines on the 95 Chevy Caprice include the lines that lead from the window washer fluid to the windshield. There are also water lines that lead to the water pump on the Caprice.
because your out of fluid or the lins arnt hooked up rightAnother AnswerSometimes, "cheap" windshield washer fluid will evaporate and leave a "dust" residue that clogs the lines that lead to the nozzles, and may also clog the nozzles. Remove the lines from the nozzles from under the hood and use a very fine wire to clean out the nozzles and the lines. Before you reinstall the lines on the nozzles, turn on the sprayer and spray out any dust left within the lines.
follow the washer lines and you will find it by the wiper motor. Look on the bottom of the fluid tank. You should see a black round cellender, that is the pump.Just pull it out and replace.
Check your radiator fill container and your windshield washer bottle.
