One of the beliefs that is explained in The Bible book of Daniel is the fact that God requires exclusive devotion! The young men Shadrach , Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow down to an image of gold made by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. When Nebuchadnezzar learns that Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego have not bowed down, he is very angry. He has them brought to him . He gives them a other Chance to bow down. But the young men trust In Jehovah. 'Our God whom we serve is able to save us,' they tell Nebuchadnezzar . But even if he does not save, we will not bow down to your image of gold.' so those young men stayed faithful and refused to bow down!. Exodus 20:3 tells us ' You must not have any other gods besides me.' Also look up Daniel 3:1-30.

Ch.7 - Daniel dreams of four strange beasts, hinting to four kingdoms.
Ch.8 - Daniel has a vision of a ram and a goat, hinting to Persia, Medea and Greece.
Ch.9 - Daniel prays to God.
Ch.10 - Daniel speaks to the angel.
Ch.11 - The angel tells Daniel of future wars between kings.
