It's beyond men to know whether they might live out the day... so predicting future global events is best left to the prophecies of our Creator found in the Bible.

Peeks into the foreboding future has always been a popular pastime with men who want to know what life is all about, why life is, and , quite frankly... what does the future hold for me and my children? It's normal. It's a valid human concern.

But future speculation has seldom yielded a rosy outlook... and more often than not spell out "gloom and doom." Sometimes, it's almost as if we like it that way.

Turns-of-the-century have always been popular times for "doomsday" speculation... dates of all kinds, including the distressing "Y2K"... and the up and coming year "2012!"

The gloom and terror of open warfare, famines, diseases, earthquakes and tsunamis are always around, however, to take up the slack as the days pass by between the years. A steady onslaught of "crises" [real or imagined] by the media and governments keeps most men occupied, along with their day-to-day cares and problems, from considering too deeply the events that might occur in the world's next "Y2K" crisis - the [Mayan] year "2012".

Bible prophecy [the future told in advance], however, doesn't speak according to and in keeping with the "calendars of men"... but of global events and trends.

In its own right, our year 2012, in the light of Bible prophecy, is taking on interesting implications regarding the direction that present global events are taking society and the world.

End time Bible prophecy reveals a final resurrection of the "fourth Beast" of the prophet Daniel - Rome - via a surge in satanic influence through two charismatic men: a man referred to as the "Beast."

"...And the Beast which I saw... the Dragon [Satan, Rev.12:9] gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority... and all the world wondered after the Beast. And they worshipped the Dragon which gave power unto the Beast: and they worshipped the Beast, saying, Who is like unto the Beast? Who is able to make war with him?" (Rev.13:2-4)

Studying this end time prophecy, we see revealed a central government and "state worship" established like the totalitarian regime of Germany in World War II... only, IT'S GLOBAL!

THE WHOLE WORLD is involved, here... not just one nation.

The "other man" involved in this "dual leadership" of the Beast will be a powerful miracle-working, "religious" leader who is briefly referred to by God's prophecy as "another Beast":

"...I beheld ANOTHER BEAST coming up out of the earth: and he had two horns like a lamb [the man will appear to be "Christ-like"... like a "Christian"... or even Christ himself to the world], and he spake as a Dragon (but his words won't be the Truth of Christ and the Bible]." (Rev.13:11)

This "other Beast" is also called the "False Prophet." It's these two men whom Christ will capture and cast into the Lake of Fire [Gehenna Valley, just outside Jerusalem) immediately upon His return to earth in the battle at Armageddon.

"And the Beast was taken, and with him the False Prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the Beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a Lake of Fire burning with brimstone..." (Rev.19:20).

These two leaders of the coming one-world government aren't yet in power. The prophecy says that the Beast (men call him "Antichrist") will be personally possessed by the Dragon, who gives him all his power. And he will do something that causes the whole world to "wonder after him." The world will be in awe of him" [miraculously surviving a deadly wound, perhaps? Rev.13:3?]. It says that the world will see him as unlike any other leader in the world. He will be so victorious in waging war, that the world will ask: "Who is able to make war with him?" [verse 4].

The miracle-working False Prophet is said to be the agency whereby the religious element of the world is temporarily bound to the Beast, conferring upon him the status of being worthy of worship. Prophecy says that the False Prophet must be in the presence of the Beast when he works his miracles - perhaps for the power of Satan to channel into and through him from the Beast.

"...he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which HE HAD THE POWER TO DO IN THE SIGHT OF THE BEAST; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the Beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the Beast, that the image of the Beast should both speak, and cause as many as would not worship the image of the Beast should be killed." (Rev.13:13-15)

The world is wondering today if the world will end in 2012.

According to Bible prophecy... no... the world won't end in 2012.

The two world leaders of the prophesied end time global government haven't yet appeared in the world. And when they finally do appear... they will rule for 3 1/2 years:

"...power was given unto him [the Beast] to continue forty and two months [3 1/2 years]." (Rev.13:5)

Jesus says of this time: "...then shall be Great Tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be..." (Matt.24:21).

Jesus says that the Great Tribulation will be brought on with the intensification of man's wars, famines, pestilences and earthquakes [in other words, the increase of the things that have always plagued man]. He says that the distress of it all will result in a global "religious intolerance" of the public utterance of "His name."

"...then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for My name's sake..." (Matt.24:9).

Only recently, in this time of "religious tolerance" in the world, are we witnessing an increase of public "intolerance" toward the name of Jesus Christ... the public display of the Ten Commandments... and any public reading of the Bible. Not to mention public prayers that end in His name and not generically.

And this is in America! The one nation in the world where Jesus' name used to be proudly professed.

The sign of the intolerance of Jesus' name... the very first sign of the beginning of the Great Tribulation of which Jesus warns us... is spreading to ALL THE NATIONS of the world - even the United States of America.

Everything America's present "regime" has been doing, has been geared to the future destruction of America, the Constitution and government by the people, which is based on biblical principles and the "unalienable rights" [life, liberty, pursuit of happiness] that are endowed by OUR CREATOR, not by governments of men. They are fully set on bringing America to her knees among the nations, so that she might be absorbed into the central one-world government system toward which they have been laboring, along with all the other nations of the world.

"Globalism" is the universal byword today among the nations [including America]... and that is Satan's goal... and the prophecy for the end time world.

What important events will happen in the year 2012?

Well... America's present "regime" is being threatened with being replaced in the next election... in 2012! Therefore... they must accomplish their goal of America's collapse by that time... or abolish elections... or abolish the electoral college and enact a general amnesty for the millions of illegals whose resulting popular votes would gratfully re-elect them in 2012.

They have already passed bills that have destroyed our grandchildren's futures... many of which shall be implemented incrementally in the years ahead. Much damage has already been done.

Will America be forced to join the absorption of the nations into a globalized system by 2012? The world won't end in 2012 as many fear... but the way global events are progressing... right around 2012 is shaping up as a very likely time for the Great Tribulation to rear its ugly prophetic head.

This is because of the present events we are witnessing: the name of Jesus Christ becoming so hated, not only in America... but in all the nations on earth.
