Admiral Husband Kimmel served as the Commander-in-Chief of the United States Pacific Fleet during the attack on Pearl Harbor. However, his leadership and preparedness for the attack have been heavily criticized. Many argued that he failed to take adequate precautions and intelligence warnings surrounding the attack. As a result, Kimmel was relieved of his command following the attack on Pearl Harbor.
