There are a variety of beneficial nutrients found in oranges. Some of these include electrolytes and Vitamin C.
Vitamin C
Oranges are particularly high in vitamin C, providing about 70% of the recommended daily intake in a medium-sized orange. They also contain smaller amounts of other vitamins, including vitamin A, vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B9 (folate), and vitamin B6. Overall, while oranges are an excellent source of certain vitamins, they do not contain a specific percentage of all vitamins, as this varies by type and serving size.
Lemons are a great source of vitamin C. They are a good source of potassium, fiber, calcium, and vitamin B6. Lemons also contain iron, magnesium, riboflavin, and thiamine (vitamin B1).
Vitamin C helps support the immune system and can help fight infections. It is found in many fruits and vegetables like oranges, strawberries, and bell peppers. An adequate intake of vitamin C is important for overall health and well-being.
