Ffdshow is a media decoder and encoder which is used in fast and high quality decoding of video in the MPEG - 4 ASP. Here are the instructions on how you can use Ffdshow : 1. Power on the computer. 2. Double click on the ffdshow installation package. 3. Click Next on "Select Components" on the setup menu. 4. Make sure that everything is ticked except Oscaler. 5. Click Next. 6. Repeat step 5 until you see the 'Additional Tasks' screen. 7. Select all except MPEG - 1 and its sub folder libmpeg2. 8. Click Next. 9. Tick on AAC 10. Bullet lbfaad2 11. Now, Click Next. 12. On the Compatibility Issues Screen select use ffdshow only in the following sections. 13. Select the programs you want to use ffdshow. 14. Then, Click Next. 15. This will give the feeling of greatly enhancing audio sharpness (and therefore quality) for some songs, though others may not sound so well.
