Since Rome was a very, very powerful empire, just like the US is today, we use most of their ideas. They had very important things that we use today such as the republic system of government and much more. We also use many things today such as the arch, the symbols of happy and sad, and very long roads.

I hope my answer helps you. I am actually a student in 6th grade and I have learned about Rome and am still learning about how it fell currently. If I had my Social Studies binder right now, I could REALLY help you out because we take SO MANY notes in class. Once again, I really hope my answer helps you!!
