- The injuries to women by a male abuser can lead to blackened eyes, broken nose or cheek bones, teeth knocked out and split lips not to mention broken jaws. Some male abusers are foxy enough to punch, kick or hit the victim with an object on parts of their bodies that will be covered up by clothing. Broken ribs to broken arms and legs are also high on the list. In addition women can be physical and violent abusers and punch, kick, scratchuse an object to strike their male counterpart and even a black eye. Most men refuse to seek help or discuss this violent treatment with their families or male friends for fear of being considered weak, but good men are taught not to strike a woman so the male victim often will quietly put up with the physical abuse.
