A "classical band of four" is called a quintet, and traditionally uses two violins, a viola and a cello. For two, you can use any two string instruments.
Ludwig van Beethoven did not play in a band. He was a composer of the Classical and Romantic periods, and able to play several instruments. He did not need to play in a band in order to be considered a great musician.
Yes.
You can use up to any combination of Four (4) Instruments (Guitars, Drums, Mics). But you need at least one.
people, instruments, talent, and snacks.
To make a band you will need instruments of course, band outfits, song tunes, melodies, song lyrics, and people in your band, record your songs.
No. No one expects the band teacher to be proficient on ALL the instruments in the band. It is important for the band teacher to have a rudimentary understanding of the various instruments and their use but more than anything, a band teacher should be very well versed in music theory and reading sheet music.
Yes they do. i know from personal experience. i got rock band 2 for Christmas, then i wanted to get rock band 2, so i got just the game. and guess what! the rock band instruments worked! Now that Rock Band 3 is out do the Rock Band 2 drums work or do you need the ones with cymbols?
For a classic rock band usually one or two guitars, one bass guitar, keyboard, and drums. For a classical music band clarinets, flutes, trumpets, trombones, tubas, baritones, percussion, baritone saxophones, tenor saxophones, and alto and sopranos saxophones and piano. For a jazz band, you'll need trumpets, trombones, baritones, all kinds of saxophone (all mentioned above), guitar, piano, drums or drum set and a keyboard. If you don't include all the instruments in the band, it will still sound fine. Hope this helps.
A band teacher will need to be able to play all the instruments that are being taught. Also, they will need to be able to read music and instruct students on how to do this as well.
members, instruments, songs, amps...when u get into playing shows then probably a PA.....
See the thing is, a band can have as little or as many instruments as preferred. Unless it is like a symphony orchestra when many are needed.
Nearly every instrument will need an amplifier if you are playing at a large enough venue. However, most classical instruments (tuba, violin, etc.) are better at not needing amplification due to how the instrument works.
