Which Invention helped Marco Polo?

As I sat thinking about your question I couldn't come up with an invention that truly helped Polo. It is possible that he used a compass that his father would have brought back from China on one of his trips. After Polo returned to Venice, Italy from his years in China he did write a book and it is possible that the invention of the printing press would have also helped by getting his story out. He came before some of the inventions and improvements in sailing that would have helped him and his maps would have been very basic not showing items that explorers found later on ( including himself). Gunpowder that he brought back from China may have helped him since he did fight in a war after he returned to Italy.

What did Bessie blount do to help with science?

Bessie Blount was an incredible woman. She helped injured soldiers in WW2 and so many of them were left disabled. She was also a therapist and a scientist. She created an invention for disabled persons to feed themselves. It was an electrical device that when the disabled person bit down on a tube a mouthful of food would drop into their mouth. She was inspired by the war because how many people it left disabled. She was thanked heavily for her work and invention. Before all of this she was just a little baby born in Hickory, Virginia in 1914. As a life went on for her she moved from Virginia to Jersey where she studied to be a physical therapist. Then she moved to Chicago to become a physical therapist. In 1951, she began to teach physical therapy at the Bronx hospital. When she had first invented this marvelous invention no U.S Veteran Administrative would take her invention into thought. So she took it to the French and they found it wonderful. The French government put the invention to good use and used it in the war for many Veteran's. She would say that" A black woman can invent something for the benefit of mankind". She was called the savior of the disabled. This figure is a picture of the invention which was used for mostly every disabled person. This was not the only invention she ever created though. She created something else called a Disposable cardboard emesis basin. Thanks to her wonderful inventions she has made life for the disabled better and she even made it to the hall of fame. She made life easier for people to not catch diseases and she was greatly rewarded for that. She influenced the life of disabled persons starting with the ones in the war, well were in the war because they were disabled and couldn't fight anymore. She was a forensic scientist. She worked in a Scotland Yard in England and was also the first African American woman to work there. After that she started to run her own business as a forensic scientist until she was 83. She studied slave papers and the Civil War. Her full name is Bessie Blount Griffin. When she was working in the War, she noticed that the most hardest thing for disabled persons to do was eat. So she decided to do something about it. She made her invention. It could be used if the disabled was laying down or sitting up. The invention consisted of a neck brace that could support a bowl, a cup, or a dish. She long wanted to work in the medical field since she was younger. Not much was known about her childhood though. She became close to Theodore Edison and cared for his mother. They began to discuss her inventions and what else she could do. So she created a new invention then and there and still the U.S Veteran Administrative didn't want to support her device so again she took it to the French, They also used this one with the injured inventions. While these devices were highly used it was very hard for her to get them to be used and produced in the U.S. Getting denied her devices by her own homeland was very devastating and when her inventions was accepted by the French twice she had to get over how she felt betrayed. The U.S even had no type of interest in her inventions. So thanks to this phenomenal woman people have been safer from diseases. She is a wonderful woman with a cause.
