At the 7 week ultrasound the fetal heart rate was 110bpm at 9 weeks it was only around 120bpm is this a sign that something is wrong my doctor didn't seem too worried about it?

I don't know what do you mean by "it was only around 120bpm"... But 120 is higher than 110. Actually both heart beat rates are normal, so you shouldn't worry about that. They are both in the normal range.

How many seconds is a bar of music?

It depends on the tempo. If a song has a fast tempo, there are less seconds in each bar. Contrarilly, if the tempo is slow, there are more seconds. Thanks to the above answer. Slow ballads have more time in a bar than a fast rock song. On a side note - using garage band i constructed a song at: 120bpm with a 4/4 Signature. According to the timer the first measure = 2 seconds. Therefore a bar with 4 measures would be 8 Seconds(at 120bpm).

What is the pattern of the numbers on a metronome?

I guess you mean the old-fashioned kind that actually has notches instead of a fancy digital thing:) 40-60bpm, it moves in twos 60-72bpm, it moves in threes 72-120bpm, it moves in fours 120-144bpm, it moves in sixes 144-208bpm, it moves in eights

What are three different ways an EKG might warn of a heart problem?

ST elevation would indicate a heart attack (MI). A Q wave would indicate an old MI. A fast heart rate >120bpm may be significant if the patient is not already being treated for conditions such as SVT. Bradycardia <60bpm may require pacing.

Is 118 abnormal Heart rate for sick 5 year old?

No! A sick child's heart rate becomes faster when they are sick due to fever, viral infections and can beat up too 140 beats per minute .118 bpm is a good rate as a 5 year old's RESTING heart rate can fall anywhere between 80-120bpm when not sick.

Why does your heart beat so fast while showering?

I've also been wondering this.. So far my conclusion is that the heat dilates your blood vessels. Which lowers blood pressure. Which makes the heart pump faster to get the same amount of Oxygen to where it needs to be. Blood vessels dilate from Heat -> Lower blood pressure -> faster heart rate. Not to mention you are standing up and doing some sort of cardio by scrubbing yourself and constantly moving.. I suspect it's normal to be around 120bpm in the shower, depending on water temperature, but I'm no doctor. Mine gets up to 150-160bpm in the shower which is what caused me to worry.. and then the worry raises it even higher. I'd like to hear any other reasons though. This just seems to be the only one I can find. Maybe the only explanation.

Was valentina tereshkova nervous when she was the first female astronaut?

In two interviews soon after her spaceflight, Tereshkova said "As they brought me to the launchpad I felt a little nervous." and also "as the rocket grew larger through the windows of the bus I felt butterflies in my stomach." However, Soviet movie coverage shows her looking calm, confident and in good spirits as she exited the bus and posed in front of the rocket she was about to ride. Medical reports released years after her flight recorded that her pulse surged to 140bpm as she climbed into the Vostok capsule, before falling back towards her usual rate of c 70bpm, once she was strapped in. The same reports indicated that at T minus 8 minutes her pulse was back up to 120bpm and it climbed steadily as the launch approached, reaching 156bpm as she felt the rocket's engines igniting under her. So, to answer your question, I think 'yes'.
