The "1's and 0's" are referred to as binary. Binary is actually the only language a computer can understand. Everything else has to be translated to binary for it to understand it. 1 is conidered closed and 0 is open.
its called binary.
The mighty language of any other languages.
binary code
Data is simply called data in computer terms. However at low level, computer uses binary digits (0 and 1) as data. Computer may use this data as input, show it directly to the user or convert it to human readable information by following the instructions given in the program.
It's simply known as a bit, and is represented as either a 1 or a 0.
Computer's only understand binary, which is 0 as "off" and 1 as "on."
Digital computer
Any information going into the computer is called data. Data can arrive from a floppy disk, from a hard disk, from a CD, from a DVD, from any kind of player or phone that the computer will recognise. Data can arrive from an internet connection, or from an intranet connection, or just along a wire from a nearby computer. Data can arrive from a webcam attached to your computer. Data can arrive from a microphone attached to your computer. Data can be chosen for use by a mouse selecting something on the computer monitor. And, yes, data can arrive by typing on the keyboard. But you knew that already.
Raid 0 dad recovery is for emergency use on computer services. When data is corrupted or damaged, Raid 0 Data recovery can help by offering speedy recovery of data or files.
Bit
The series of 1's and 0's are called Binary code... if you want to know the name of each individual digit, they are referred to as bits. So when people say 8bit, it stands for 8 digits of binary.
To us humans, data is raw facts or figures. To a computer, data means nothing since a computer is not a sentient being with intelligence but a marvelous and complex machine which is made up of billions of switches. Data is stored as a binary code, i.e. as a series of 0's and 1's. Different encoding schemes are used to decide how text, audio, graphics etc are to be stored as binary data. Data can be present in a computer in different forms. In a hard disk, data is stored in the form of orientation of particles of the magnetic material that makes the surface of its platters. In RAM modules, data is stored as the state of flip flops. One state is used to represent 1 and other one to represent 0.
In a computer data is represented as a series of usually binary digits. In the binary system the only numbers/values used are 0 and 1.
The alphabet Aa to Zz, numbers 0 to 9, and several punctuation marks and symbols, can be typed as characters into a computer as data.
a byte is a 8 bit mathematical representation of a unit of data, aka a word or character.
