I believe that you are referring to a bacterial endospore. Only a small number of bacteria can produce these (Gram-positive Firmicutes). Endospores are very tough and allow the bacteria that can produce them to survive high temperatures, pressures, drought, etc.
Endospore
The resting stage is a bad name for interphase because the cell is not resting. The cell is still functioning and is preparing for mitosis.
A round cell is a small lymphocyte or a closely related cell that especially occurs in an area of chronic infection or as the typical cell of some sarcomas.
resting potential
It's interphase, though ironically, the cell is actually quite busy during this phase trying to perform its normal functions. It is called the resting phase because it is "resting" from cell division.
Interphase is a period of a cell's life. It used to be called the resting period, but that name was discarded when scientists realized how much activity takes place during its time.~Alice
endospore
TracheidsA cell in the xylem of vascular plants.
Ablood cell is a rounded so that it can move easily through small blood vessels.
resting potential
The resting stage is a bad name for interphase because the cell is not resting. The cell is still functioning and is preparing for mitosis.
false endospore
When a neuron is resting then inside of the cell membrane is more negative than outside.
A round cell is a small lymphocyte or a closely related cell that especially occurs in an area of chronic infection or as the typical cell of some sarcomas.
resting potential
This is the definition of "resting potential".
cyst
The concentrations on Na+ outside the cell and concentrations of K+ inside the cell determine the resting membrane potential.
