Alamid Coffee is a product of the environment, having a registered trademark owned by Bote Central, Inc. of the Philippines. Coffee Alamid is civet coffee droppings from wild civets or 'Alamids' , the Tagalog word for civets . Alamids or the civets are the natural seed dispersers in the forests' ecosystem. To quote Ms. Reggie Aspiras , a chef columnist of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Coffee Alamid "is best described as designer / boutique coffee in aroma and in taste. On the mouth it feels like it was tailored, blended just for you." In addition, she said ,"...on the palate, the coffee makes perfect harmony, like fine aged wine!"
