The scientific term for the apparent curved motion of moving objects is called amodal perception. This has to do with how things are perceived from certain angles.
The curved path is the result of gravity and inertia acting on the ball. As it leaves the table gravity pulls it to the ground at an increasing rate while inertia keeps it moving in its original direction. The table prevents the rolling ball from falling thus negating that curvature caused by gravity, and making it follow a straight line.
It could cause your muscles to weaken or deteriorate depending on how long a person was exposed to it. If a person is exposed to it they need to make sure and do plenty of exercises to keep their muscles in shape.
(1) Anything moving in a circle, (2) anything moving along a curved path.
Gravity will speed up a force if gravity acts in the same direction as the object is already moving - for example, if the object is already moving downward - and if counterforces (such as air resistance) don't interfere too much.
There's only one, called the 'centripetal' force.

erosion
it's called a slump.
i think itscentripetal force
It is called deposition. It occurs as friction or gravity overcomes the force of the moving water.

An object is in free fall only if its motion is subject to being both only affected by gravity and only moving up or down.

There is a little something called gravity that stops them moving backwards... it is a physical impossibility
This is broadly known as mass wasting which is a type of erosion.
