The 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII ABS speed sensor is located on the side of the transmission. The speed sensor should be labeled as such.
Make sure you have it out of AUTO LIGHTS ON. Do the lights automatically come on when the car is started? If so, the Auto Lamp switch may be on.
In the airtube right after the air filter, passenger side, under the hood.
Under the hood, passenger side where the air tube goes into the airbox.

If your signal lights still work, the multi purpuse switch is probably bad, (turn signal stalk)

Could be the crank sensor, pass. side down by the air cond. compressor or the cam sensor, drivers side behind the power steering res.
If you don't have a scanner take it to Auto Zone or I think even Advantage does it and they will tell you what the code is and erase the code for you.
The shop manual would have it or at a Lincoln dealer parts department just ask the counter person.
