Carbon dioxide is a chemical compound composed of two oxygen atoms covalently bonded to a single carbon atom. It is used by plants during photosynthesis to make their food.It is also generated as a by-product of the combustion of fossil fuels or the burning of vegetable matter, among other chemical processes.

Small amounts of carbon dioxide are also emitted from volcanoes and other geothermal processes such as hot springs and geysers and by the dissolution of carbonates in crustal rocks.
It is a compound of one carbon atom and two oxygen's name is carbon dioxide. In human oxygen is essential to live life but in plants it is most essential to live life. It it is increase vigorously in air then it is more harmful to human beings.
