Media whether its contains wires or it is wireless allows two or more people to communicate with one another without being physically present (William.B & Sawyer.S, 2007. Using Information Technology. The McGraw-Hill Publishing Inc: New York). Prior to the technological age there were only two types of media we could use to communicate. These two types of media were radio and the telephone. This communication takes place as channels carry signals through a path ((William.B & Sawyer.S, 2007. Using Information Technology. The McGraw-Hill Publishing Inc: New York). ). In order for this traveling signal to take place there are three types of media that are used to facilitate communication.
1) Twisted-Pair Wire 2) Coaxial Cable 3) Fiber-Optic Cable
Wired media are forms of wired communication in which all is transmitted via a wired as opposed to wireless connections. Cable television, wired telephone networks and fiber optics are all considered wired communications. Even wireless devices like mobile phones, the internet and satellite communications still need to rely on wired communications.
Wired transmission media is media used to transfer information over a network, such as Twisted Pair cable. This is opposed to wireless transmission media which uses radio waves to transmit information. There are many types of wired transmission media such as coaxial cable, telephone lines, etc. Basically any form of wire used to transmit information over a network is considered a wired transmission media.
Cable media is a type of media which is known as cable media :)
The de-scrambler is a digital cable. You do not need the cable service if your home is already wired.
Usually with an ethernet cable
One example is that one of my laptops can wirelessly go on the internet through my router in another room. My desktop computer is wired to the router using an ethernet cable - so is not a wireless connection. It two devices can talk to each other, yet there is not a cable connecting them, then that is an example of a wireless (commonly called wifi) connection.
wired or guided m
the five component are: 1.computer. 2.switch. 3.Network adapter. 4.Media either cable or wireless. 5.IP address.
twisted pair
The differences between cable and wireless internet is that, when it is "cable" internet a physical cable is connected between the computer and the router. Whereas the "wireless" internet is wireless, it sends information through the air to your computer.
The USB cable is about 50 cm to a metre.
Telecommunications affects all sorts of electronic media such as radio, television, cable, satellite, internet, and telephones both wired and mobile. It is what helps crate the basics of our modern day world.
