Rotting in Prison.

Manson has a very diminished existance. He stays in solitary confinement for his own protection. Does almost no socializing, has no family to speak of, and seems to lose a little more of himself everyday.

He does enjoy a small amount of infamy, but I doubt it goes far. In his mid 70s, instead of getting mellow like most people do with age, Manson seems to grow more caustic with each passing day. In his speech he rambles endlessly and can talk for hours and not be understood as to the point he was trying to make. He has for the most part given up going to his parole hearings, so he lives without hope too. That has to be his worst punishment.

He looks like what he really is, an old man, ranting and rambling, almost never making any sense at all. Prison is not easy on anybody, but add solitary confinement with the mental problems he has always had and the picture is not a pretty one.

With the exception of his early years, Manson has maintained two looks. The long-haired, wild-eyed persona and shaved-head, wild-eyed look worn during his trial in 1969-70. Now well into his 70's, Manson is in desperate need of a make-over. I believe he is as rabid and dangerous as he ever was, spending much of his time in solitary confinement.
