Aspen is a famous ski resort town, Columbine High School is famous for the wrong reasons, as is the Cinemark Theater in Aurora. Cripple Creek is somewhat famous as a mining and (now) casino town. Vail is another famous ski destination, as is Breckenridge. Golden is likely famous among fans of beer (although, to their credit, Killian's Irish Red and Blue Moon is brewed there), Ludlow is somewhat famous for the Ludlow Massacre, when the Colorado National Guard and Colorado Fuel & Iron Company guards attacked a group of striking miners. There's the Sand Creek National Historic Site where the Sand Creek Massacre occurred, and the Buckhorn Exchange is a semi-famous restaurant.
In Addition:
Pike's Peak, a National Historic Landmark, is probably the most famous place in Colorado. Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the more famous places in Colorado. The city of Denver is also well known.
