The highest point in Colorado is the summit of Mt. Elbert southwest of Leadville on the Collegient Range. It's over 14,000 ft. The lowest point is in southeast Colorado at the point that the Arkansas River exits the State. As I recall it's about 4,200 ft. there but I don't have a map handy! Check Google maps.
