It the worlds largest comic book CONvention - hence the name. Attendees do a variety of things including meeting artists and celebrities, talking to industry representatives and people-watching as there are alot of eclectic and interesting 'characters' attending. MMMMMOOOOOOMMMMMMMAAAAAAAYYYYYYY111111117777777 Comic-Con is yeah, basically the largest comic book convention. Well, the people who buy tickets for it can meet the celebrities who played a role in the movie Comic-Con would be hosting. Unfortunately, not all of the characters attend to Comic-Con, mostly just the main characters. Comic-Con usually appears before a popular movie is released. This is so Comic-Con can release unseen footage of the film sometimes as a bonus. The characters sit along a big table and they answer questions from the fans and just talk about the movie. It can get really fun and silly at times. :D This years Comic-Con, that is actually going to be done today, July 23, 2009 at 2:15-3:15, will be hosting New Moon!! Comic-Con is a popular annual convention that celebrates comics, movies, TV shows, and pop culture. At Comic-Con, attendees can participate in panels, meet celebrities, purchase merchandise, view exclusive previews and screenings, and dress up in cosplay costumes. It is a place where fans can come together to celebrate their passions and interests.

∙ 10y agoAt Comic Con people dress up as characters or other people and walk around. You can hang out in this room filled with stands and stores or you can go and see the panels that have special guest speakers. There are also rooms where you can certain games like Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh!

Usually an anime/video game convention. Answer: The bigger ones are usually sponsored by convention companies, for example ComicCon which sponsors Fanime, Otakon, etc. There are many smaller ones for specific animes or games which are sponsored and organized by the fans themselves, for example Hetalia fans are organizing a north California cosplay event this June.
Do you get searched at UK MCM Expo or checked thoroughly?
You won't normally be searched by MCM staff. If your concern is a replica weapon, do bear in mind that you can be arrested for possessing a realistic replica firearm in the UK without a licence - it has to be immediately visually recognizable as a toy, so wrap it in lurid tape or write TOY on it in great big letters if you're going to be waving it around anywhere public outside the official costume contests. If you're asking for more sinister reasons, please don't bomb London ComicCon, it's full of sweet, fun, caring people.

Seth MacFarlane still insists there will eventually be a theatrical Family Guy movie. He most recently in late 2015, said on Twitter he was still intending on making one (not in those words mind you). It's reasonable to assume we won't see a FG movie until the series if off the air. - At the 2016 ComicCon, Alec Sulkin predicted there could be one "within the next five years".
Where can you buy a 6th Doctor coat?
You could have a look on Ebay or Amazon. Maybe a fan is offering to make or sell some on a Doctor Who fan site. There is also a chance that they are available in fancy dress shops. Failing that, you can try making your own. You cannot buy most of the originals. The few surviving pieces are in museums. Colin Baker (the 6th Doctor Who) had his replica costume for conventions made by an independent costume maker. My other suggestion is do the Comiccon and other fan conventions.
