EBD means Electronic Brakeforce Distribution is an Anti-Lock braking system is a safety system that allows the wheels on a motor vehicle to continue interactive tractively with the road surface as directed by driver steering inputs while braking, preventing the wheels from locking up (that is, ceasing rotation) and therefore avoiding skidding.

causal factors, the implications and possible mitigation regarding EBD
EBD controls and monitors the brake pressure on rear wheels enhancing drivng stability during braking.
yes. every car having ABS must have EBD system. basically EBD is a part of ABS system which provide braking operation to it. ABS sensors provide rpm readings of each wheel to ABS control system. after analyzing speeds of each wheel if any wheel is skidding controller gives signal to EBD to provide braking to that particular wheel.
