Eid al-Adha meaning feast or sacrafice, or "Festival of Sacrifice" or "Greater Eid" is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide to commemorate the willingness of prophet Abraham(Ibrahim) to sacrifice his son Ishmael (Isma'il) as an act of obedience to God, before The merciful God intervened to provide prophet Abraham with a ram to sacrifice instead. This is also found in The Bible as well as the Torah(Hebrew Bible. Allah means God and therefore is NOT a separate God from the Christians and Jews. All

three of these faiths worship the same God. How ever there are some christians who

worship Mary and Jesus, Which is very wrong as it contradicts with the first 2 of the

10 commandments.

The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:2-17 NKJV)1"I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.2"You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.

The meat is divided into three parts. The family retains one third of the share; another third is given to relatives, friends and neighbors; and the other third is given to the poor and needy.
