I had a CT scan and it said that I have 'false joint formation of the transverse process of L5 on the right to the sacral wing. What does that mean???
The joint between the skull (occipital bone) and first vertebrae (atlas) is a condyloid joint (the condyles are on the occipital bone). This joint allows your head to lean forward and backward. The joint between the first vertebrae and second vertebrae (axis) is a pivot joint, which allows you to turn your head to look left or look right. (The pivot is the dens of the axis.) The other intervertebral joints I do not think fall into a clear classification, although whatever text you are using might try to put them into one category or the other for illustrative purposes. The whole column is basically held together by many ligaments, with discs between each vertebrae, which allows for a wide range of motion. The sacral and coccygeal joints, however, are fused.
I have osteoarthritis of the right knee due to an injury years ago and for the past ten years I have developed oa in the right hip and spine. does oa move from one joint to another?
You're on the right track, but technically that's false. Latitude is an angle, not a distance.
rotationUNIAXIAL ROTATIONyesThe pivot joint moves by twisting and rotating around. It is located at the neck and lower arm. The pivot joint is one of the four types of the moveable joints. The only immovable joint is at the skull. :)moveRotationuniaxial rotationUniaxial rotationA pivot joint permits lateral rotation or side to side movement. An example of this type of joint in your body is the C2 vertebra, called axis. The axis (a pivot joint) allows you to shake your head to indicate no.movement allowed in a pivot joint is known as?
Well if my basic human anatomy knowledge is not right it should be a Hinge joint like the ones at your elbow and knee.............yeh I must be right.
The sacral promontory is just under the base. It's that little ridge right under the base. :-)
False a joint stock company is a company backed up by its owners
The vertebrae is located at the top of your body and ends at your lower back.
Yes, joint tenancy and right of survivorship are closely related concepts. Joint tenancy refers to multiple owners holding equal shares of a property with a right of survivorship, meaning that when one owner passes away, their share automatically transfers to the surviving owner(s).

A mitre joint forms a nice right angle.

Ell
True. It could not have 2 right angles, because the combined angles of a triangle equal 180 and 2 right angles would leave the final side at 0 degrees.
