You need a 5-year professional bachelor's degree in architecture. Other skills are considered too such as computer skills. Get three years of training before being licensed. Obtain a professional certification.

Jan Gluszak, a Polish architect who was interested in eco-friendliness, had schizophrenia severe enough to be put in a psychiatric hospital. He died in 2000 when he jumped from a second-floor window in the psychiatric hospital. Karl Junker, a German/Austrian architect, had schizophrenia (I'm not sure if he's still alive, as everything I can find is in German).

It's not guaranteed that a spouse can obtain German citizenship; to be sure you fulfill all the requirements and in the right order, you need to go see an immigration lawyer IN GERMANY who can help you make plans to do things right. There will be a residency requirement, a German language requirement, and a German history/culture/politics requirement, among other things.
If your looking to be an architect then go to any four year college and ask about the requirements to begin your education. But if it is just building design, go to your community college and ask for design classes in architecture.
